Acceptance of terms
By using The HVAC Pro List (thehvacprolist.com), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Directory information
We compile business information from public sources including licensing records, public business listings, and business websites. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currentness of any listing. Always verify information directly with the business before making hiring decisions.
No referral relationship
The HVAC Pro List is an independent directory. We are not a referral service. We do not receive payment from listed businesses for placement or rankings. We do not endorse any listed business.
Business claiming and verification
Business owners or authorized representatives may claim a listing through deterministic automated proof. A verified mailbox may grant access only when it matches a unique, current, evidence-backed official domain. DNS TXT challenges are available for authoritative domains when mailbox matching is unavailable. Shared, hosted, directory, social, free-mail, stale, conflicting, and raw imported website values do not grant access by themselves. By submitting information, you represent that it is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the business. Security abuse may cause automated denial, suspension, or revocation.
Corrections, removals, appeals, and abuse reports
Machine-verified owners may submit supported listing fields through their account. Low-risk changes are validated automatically. Website-domain changes require fresh domain proof, and name or primary-address changes require strong binding to the existing canonical identity. Consumers and businesses may report spam, impersonation, incorrect contact details, closed businesses, or other abuse through the contact page; a report does not directly alter public facts.
Listing information
Listings may include details from public records, public business listings, business websites, and owner-submitted updates. We may simplify source descriptions so homeowners can quickly understand what to confirm before hiring.
Limitation of liability
The HVAC Pro List is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the directory or reliance on listing information.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
